The exhibition includes works by Absalon, Jean Basquiat, Joseph Beuys, Arnold Böcklin, Imi Giese, Liam Gillick, Thomas Hirschhorn, Willem De Kooning, Gordon Matta-Clark, Ferdinand Nigg, Emil Nolde, Rita McBride, A.R. Penck, Peter Paul Rubens, Bill Viola and Andy Warhol.
The dialogic principle of the arrangement of the works – in which works of different stylistic directions move into a relationship with one another – stands in the foreground. Through the dialogue between opposites and proximities, exciting interspaces are created which enable one to delve into the layers and ranges of the works of art.
