To mark the ongoing 800th anniversary of the city of Feldkirch, Kunstmuseum Liechtenstein presents five artistic positions from Feldkirch in a show curated by Arno Egger.
Feldkirch defined various themes for the anniversary year with the aim of engaging in an in-depth scrutiny of questions of past, present and future. One of the themes is its role as a border city throughout its history.
Feldkirch is particularly fortunate to have brought forth a range of figures who have for decades been passionate about probing and shifting boundaries. The exhibition presents five artistic positions whose particular obsession found expression in astronomy, dadaist form, body performance, photography and in the orbit of the Fluxus movement.
Artworks by FLATZ, Anne Marie Jehle, Max Riccabona, Eugen Steck and Nikolaus Walter.
Admission to the exhibition is free of charge.
