The public perception is still dominated by the idea that art takes place in museum spaces. Since the 1960s, however, a great many works have been created on the street, with artists redefining the boundaries of art. Probing the relationship between private and public space, they also stage radical and poetic actions.
In spring/summer 2025, Kunstmuseum Liechtenstein is dedicating a group show to these topics with works by Francis Alÿs, Ovidiu Anton, André Cadere, Anna Jermolaewa, Sari Dienes, Tomislav Gotovac, Pope.L, Klara Lidén, Rivane Neuenschwander, Georgia Sagri, Agnès Varda and others.
